The team is happy to help you discover the world of boxing.
The president of the club, Véronique Robin, manages a team of 5 coaches, Clémence, Eric, José, Stéphane, et Hamdi, to welcome you and target your needs.
Open to all; men, women and children are welcome to come and try a variety of training methods:
-Leisure boxing to discover the sport of boxing
-Aerobox or fitness boxing for fitness
-Amateur boxing for the beginners or masters
-Educational boxing to teach the younger students how to become a competitor
We also propose personal training with a private coach to help with weight loss, fitness, improving your physical condition and/or to improve your technique. (see the coaching menu)
The location of the gym inside the « Parc des Charles Ehrmann » is a real advantage, because after having a gym well set up with a ring and numerous punch-bags, we have the access to the weight-training room next door and we can use all the running tracks.
Boxing suffers from low media coverage and some unimportant cinematographic clichés, it won’t be easy to push open the door of a boxing gym without apprehension, but you will be surprised by the friendly yet professional environment of the Boxing Club Nicois.
The BCN gym is above all else, a club with a personable qualities such as respect, tolerance, hard work, team spirit and… a good dose of humor !
We organize, throughout the year, different activities in order to maintain the cohesion of the club. The team who manage the club is made up of friends who want to teach you all their knowledge in a friendly way.
We collaborate for special events with other boxing gyms and other clubs of different sports like the Nice Hockey Club, and additionally we organize special training for the kids during the school holidays. Our aim, through these actions, is to give a better image of boxing. We want to show you that this sport is a technical-tactical game which brings a lot on a psychological level.
